The Hathras Case

The Hathras case is shocking. The High Court has stepped in and asked for the reports. It is hoped that sense will prevail and the culprits will not be spared. This apart, it is also very important that the society as a whole is educated on the rights and duties of men also. The men have to understand that it is their duty to protect the women and not oppress them. The words that ' boys make mistakes ' have already done a great damage not only in U.P. but also in entire India. We all also need to understand that the women are also partly to be blamed for this oppression. The women do not educate their sons and allow them to indulge in all kinds of lawlessness. They protect their sons and do not want their daughters-in-law to move forward in society. There is a different yardstick with these people for their daughters and daughters-in-law. They mistreat their daughters-in-law. Due to this patriarchic mindset, the boys after growing up remain boys even after marriage and start m...

Drugs are causing harm

Drugs are menace to any society and country. Our country is no exception. Sometimes I happen to view the debates on news channels. Instead of watching any useful and informative debate, I only find that the participants keep shouting and screaming. They do not seem to have any meeting or conference etiquettes. They do not listen to others. They join the debate with  preconceived and highly biased notions and leave the debate believing even more than ever before that their view points were totally right. But it should not happen like this. The compere should introduce the participants and then lay down the rules. If he/she finds that any participant is flouting the rules, he/she should first give a warning and then on second offence, he/she should mute that participant. If the participant refuses to learn, he/she should be asked to leave and should not be invited for future discussions. The compere should not have any pressure about channel's TRP. While discussing drugs, we he...
Today our P.M. shared a story about Tenali Ram's wit in '' Man Ki Bat ". I have also read a similar story but there is a small difference though the message in both stories is same. In the story that I read the king wanted a different dish and the chef prepared and served Aubergine ( Baingan ). The king liked the dish and appreciated the chef in his court. Tenali Ram concurred with it saying , '' Sire, this vegetable is the king of vegetables like you are the king of people. You see this vegetable has a crown on its head and no other vegetable has the crown. So, this vegetable is for the royalty ". But next day the king got indisposed as he suffered loose motion due to Aubergine. After recovery the king joined the court and was very annoyed and wanted to punish the chef. But Tenali Ram said, " Sire, the name of this vegetable is Begun i.e. Be-gun. Be means without and gun means quality so this vegetable is without any gun or quality hence it created ...

Indian position in world

India as a force to be reckoned with : India has now emerged as a global power and the world has had to admit it even if, reluctantly. This has happened inspite of the continuous bickering, leg pulling, abusing, humilating the government in power. We in India have always been known to be tolerant by nature. This in fact was taken as a sign of subjugation. However, this has been totally proved wrong. Post 19991, India has risen globally irrespective of the governments in power. The reforms were initiated in the Narsimha Rao government in 1991. After that, there was no looking back. Though we had to face Kargil yet we lived with that and brushed it off as our opponent was clueless about the immense valour of our armed forces. This tradition of valour continues even today. That is the reason that China has had to withdraw in recent times. It is also now known very well that India takes its own decisions and is not cowed down by any pressure. So whether it is modernising Indian Military-all...
